Katedral Jakarta
Jakarta Cathedral (Indonesian: Gereja Katedral Jakarta, Dutch: Kathedraal van Jakarta) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Jakarta, Indonesia, which is also the seat of the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Jakarta, currently Archbishop Ignatius Suharyo Hardjoatmodjo.[1] Its official name is Gereja Santa Perawan Maria Diangkat Ke Surga (from Dutch, De Kerk van Onze Lieve Vrouwe ten Hemelopneming, in English: The Church of Our Lady of Assumption). This current cathedral was consecrated in 1901 and built in the neo-gothic style, a common architectural style to build churches at that time. The Jakarta Cathedral is located in Central Jakarta near Merdeka Square and Merdeka Palace, it stands right in the front of the Istiqlal Mosque.

nice place to visit. old tradition ships ( Pinisi) . it has a
different feel but found very few people in the afternoon. will not
recommend during sunset/evening. there was a major jam when we were
going and also when we were returning.
Istiqlal Mosque (Indonesian: Masjid Istiqlal, lit. 'Independence Mosque') in Jakarta, Indonesia is the largest mosque in Southeast Asia and the third largest Sunni mosque in term of capacity.[1] This national mosque
of Indonesia was built to commemorate Indonesian independence and named
"Istiqlal", an Arabic word for "independence". The mosque was opened to
the public 22 February 1978. Within Jakarta, the mosque is positioned
next to Merdeka Square and the Jakarta Cathedral.
Elephant Museum (National Museum)
National Museum of Indonesia is also recognized as Elephant Museum. It's called as Elephant Museum because there's an elephant sculpture made of bronze medal at the front park of the museum. The sculpture was a grant from King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) of Thailand who visited the museum in 1871. Around the sculpture there are cannons which position are facing the National Monument (Monas).
